Diet/Workout Update

I am major league horrible at updating this thing. Just a quick update, I am down over 30 lbs now, only about 30 left to go!

An Update

So I have been going for over a month now and I’m down almost 20 lbs. Very proud of myself. I have learned how to cook a bigger variety of foods and tastes without sacrificing the healthy aspect of my diet. This is a huge success so far!! I can’t really get in a habit of blogging, mostly due to the fact that I don’t feel like I have anything to say that anyone cares to read. Oh well.

First Weigh In

So I had my first weigh in on Tuesday. My goal was a 4 lbs weight loss, and I was really nervous. I don’t want to be one of those people that looks at a scale everyday, so I think doing a weigh-in once a week with my trainer to track my progress is a good thing. Well the good news is I made my goal…and some. I was excited to hear that I had lost 7 lbs in the first week. I am realistic in knowing that the first week might be the highest weight loss week, but the fact that I lost weight and feel great made for an amazing surprise. I am not celebrating yet, I do have a bit of work to do to accomplish my goal, but I feel good!

Week 2 Starts

Starting out Week 2 Right!! Nice bowl of Kashi Autumn Wheat and a Banana this morning 🙂

Busy week this week will test my ability to eat 6 meals a day, but I’m up for the task!

Day 2

So today looks like a normal six meal diet:

Meal 1: 1 1/2 Egg Omelet (with onions), Wheat Toast
Meal 2: Skim Milk
Meal 3: Low Sodium Turkey with Wheat Bread, and Apple
Meal 4: Carrots
Meal 5: Grilled Chicken and Broccoli (leftovers)
Meal 6: Skim Milk

Today will also consist of a 40 min walk before dinner.

Good times!
